  • How long is a visit?

The initial consultation and assessment takes 30-60 minutes. Personal injury initial consultations take about 30 minutes. Follow-up sessions to review/learn/modify therapies and discuss any other relevant information take 20 minutes. A follow-up session with re-assessment takes 30-45 minutes. Please be on time to your visits so that we can effectively utilize your time.

  • What does a visit cost?

    A 30-60 minute initial visit costs $250. A 20-minute follow-up session costs $150. A 30-45 minute follow-up session with re-assessment costs $250.

A personal injury initial consultation costs $600. Any subsequent follow-up sessions cost $150. Any subsequent follow-up sessions with re-assessment cost $250.

Most active care plans range from $1,100-$1,700 total. This amount may fluctuate depending on the severity of your symptoms, and your overall improvement.

  • How many visits will I need?

This varies by patient. If Dr. Perman believes he may be able to help you following your initial visit, he will generally recommend to see you twice over the course of a week to teach you your first therapies. He will then typically recommend another visit every 1-3 weeks while you practice your therapies on your own. Most of the time Dr. Perman expects to see some type of improvement in your symptoms within 4-6 weeks. Your response in this initial 4-6 weeks will guide his future recommendations.

Most treatment plans consist of 6-10 visits total, including 1 initial visit, 4-8 follow-up sessions, and 1-2 follow-ups with re-assessment. These recommendations may fluctuate depending on the severity of your symptoms, and your overall improvement.

  • Will I have to practice my therapies forever?

The goal is to build as much lasting strength in your brain as possible. That said, your brain should be exercised regularly, just like your body should. When you are just getting started, expect to practice your therapies 3-4 times every day (they usually only take 5-15 minutes per session). Once you are as stable as possible, you can instead add your brain therapies to the beginning and end of your regular physical exercise routine 3-5 days per week, or you can completely stop the therapies and start them again if symptoms begin to return or worsen.

  • Do you work on personal injury cases?

Dr. Perman has extensive experience managing personal injury cases. That said, he sees personal injury cases on a very strict case-by-case basis, and will agree to see you on-lien if he accepts your case. If you would like to receive a consultation or treatment, and you have an open personal injury case, please submit an inquiry on our contact page. If your case is accepted, be sure to fill out all paperwork BEFORE your visit. If paperwork is not received prior to your visit, the appointment will be canceled. Virtual Brain Rehab by Perman Chiropractic Neurology, PC reserves the right to cancel any personal injury visit at any time without reason.
